Astrid is an experience strategic advisor in the field of political positioning and media work.

Astrid has previous experience as a political advisor in the Ministry of Climate and Environment, where she worked as one of Ola Elvestuen’s closest advisors. As a political advisor she had responsibility for communication and media, working on a range of demanding political and media cases.

Astrid has deep insight into themes connected to sustainability, climate and the environment, as well as political processes, message development and external media work. She is leader of Venstrekvinnelaget (a feminist side organisation to the Liberal Party) and has been deputy leader of the Liberal Party in Bergen for three years. During several periods she has been communication advisor for the Liberal Party’s parliamentary group in parliament, and played a central role in the Liberal Party’s comeback in Hordaland during the 2013 election.

Astrid has a Masters degree in Forensic Science from the university of Bergen, specialising in corporation and tax law. She is also professionally educated as a project manager within theatre and the performing arts and has solid experience in managing and producing large events.
