Kristoffer Stabrun

Senior Adviser

Kristoffer Stabrun has extensive experience with political and regulatory frameworks, from both public administration and the private sector.  

Kristoffer spent 13 years at the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy, working in several departments. This included work as Adviser on climate change policy, CCS, the EU Emissions Trading Scheme and international climate negotiations. From 2015 to 2022, he served as Assistant Director General in the Oil and Gas Department, working on major industrial projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. He has also served on the board of the Norsk Petroleumsforening.

He joined Kruse Larsen from his role as Senior Manager at Fred. Olsen Seawind, with lead responsibility for public affairs and communication for the company’s Norwegian offshore wind activities.

Kristoffer holds degrees in Political Science and History from the University of Bergen and from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He has also studied international relations in Paris and Cairo.
