Adviser
Marianne has a sharp pen and an analytical approach, drawing on more than ten years of experience in communication, organisational leadership and political engagement.
Her background is from the higher education sector, where she has served as President of the National Union of Students (NSO), Communications Adviser for the rectorate at the University of Oslo, and Head of Secretariat for the The Association of Norwegian Student Welfare Organizations. She was responsible for policy development, media relations and public affairs — including crisis communication during the pandemic and policy work to improve conditions for the construction of student housing.
Marianne has long experience as an active member and elected representative for the Labour Party. She is Deputy Leader of Bærum Labour Party and serves on the municipal committee for climate, environment and development in Bærum.
She holds a master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Oslo, with additional focus on statistics, public policy and natural resource management. In 2025, she complete a master-level course in strategic communication at BI Norwegian Business School.
