Mette has long and wide-ranging experience from central government administration, with more than 20 years in various positions within the health sector.
She has strong strategic competence and deep insight into the interaction between expertise, bureaucracy and politics in decision-making processes. Mette joined Kruse Larsen leads the company’s work in the health sector. She previously served as Senior Strategic Adviser at Helse Midt-Norge RHF. She joined Kruse Larsen in 2020.
In recent years, Mette has led the secretariat for the Beslutningsforum for nye metoder, giving her solid knowledge of the national system for health technology assessment (“Nye metoder”). She has also been responsible for the secretariat for the national meetings between the four CEOs of the regional health authorities. Earlier in her career, she worked ten years in the Ministry of Health and Care Services, where she played key roles in several major assessments and reform processes.
Mette holds a degree in Economics (cand. oecon.) from the University of Oslo.
