Petter is an experienced strategic adviser with deep expertise in politics and public positioning. For more than twelve years, he has worked closely with political leaders at both local and national level.

For many years, Petter was one of the closest advisers to party leader and Minister of Finance Siv Jensen, working closely with her on political strategy and communication. He brings unique skills to support clients with political analysis, media relations, message development, strategic planning and crisis communication.

Petter worked for Siv Jensen in the Ministry of Finance from 2013 until December 2018, first as Political Adviser and later as State Secretary. In this role, he was responsible for strategy and communication, and worked on a number of major political initiatives as well as several demanding media cases. He also played a key role in the political positioning of Siv Jensen and in the Progress Party’s strategies for the 2015 and 2017 elections.

Petter has substantial local political experience from the Progress Party, including elected positions in Bergen City Council and Hordaland county council , and as Political Adviser to the Bergen City Government. He has studied marketing communication and management at BI Norwegian Business School.

Tim brings long and wide-ranging experience from the Norwegian media sector. Over the years, he has worked as a political journalist across VG’s politics and society desk, VG Nett and VGTV, gaining deep insight into how political stories are shaped and told.

He has also served as US correspondent for P4 and Viasat4 News, and earlier worked as a reporter and debate producer for the programme 1730. Tim became part of Kruse Larsen in 2015, during the company’s start-up phase, and has been with us ever since.
