Johanne Archer

Johanne has experience in politics, communications, media relations, and public administration.

She previously worked as an Executive Officer in the Norwegian Ministry of Energy in the Section for Energy Transition, Climate and Analysis where she mainly focused on carbon capture and storage (CCS) and the Longship project.

Johanne holds a law degree from the University of Oslo. She has previously worked as an Associate at Kvale Law Firm in the Ocean and Energy Department.

She completed her studies as a Research Assistant at the Scandinavian Institute of Maritime Law, where she wrote her master’s thesis on cross-border transport of CO₂.

She also has extensive experience from the Conservative Party and its youth organisation. Among other roles, she has served as a Political Adviser for the Young Conservatives’ national association, where she worked on press relations, profile development, and long-term strategy. In addition, Johanne has been a member of the municipal council for the Conservative Party in Tønsberg municipality and a deputy member of the county council for Vestfold County. She has also held a number of elected positions in Tønsberg Conservatives and the Young Conservatives.
